John Greitzer has served on the Board of Directors since 2015. He retired in 2013 after a first career as a newspaper reporter and then a thirty-year career in transportation, planning, and water policy for local and regional agencies in northern California. His work in Contra Costa County ranged from pedestrian safety and traffic improvements to advocating for federal funds to improve the John F. Baldwin Ship Channel along the County’s northern coast, to water policy analysis to protect water quality in the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta. John lives in Martinez and enjoys reading, hiking, and music.
